Brawl-o-mania
Here is how the project came together step by step.
The idea of creating the Brawl-o-mania website was first conceived in 2023 by Farsighter.
Then, in January 2025, he decided to show the first example of a manually calculated rating.
Gipfel noticed it and decided to develop his idea and create a full-fledged Brawl-o-mania rating website. After some time, the name of the site created by Farsighter and the logo created by B1ebra appeared.
However, while developing Python software for calculations, the team encountered a data problem. We tried to solve it and attempted to obtain the Liquipedia DB API.
On May 28, 2025, we received permission to use the API from liquipedia.net. After that, we looked for someone to help us create Python software for calculations, and we succeeded and started working with Myro.
When the first version of the rating was automatically calculated, we published it on our Brawl-o-mania X and Myro's.
The site was developed and launched immediately on October 12, 2025.
Core content areas that are updated and expanded during the season.
BOM ratings combine match outcomes, consistency and activity. Leaderboards are available for players and teams with regional and country filtering.
Match checks are automated. New finished matches trigger rating refresh, prize-pool refresh and publishing of updated datasets for the website.
You can now review weekly progress from the start of a season to any chosen date and track position changes for players or teams.
